Meet Dr. Jeffrey L. Day
As a child, Jeffrey Day M.D., wanted to be a pilot, but a summer job at a camp for kids with disabilities, changed all that. He knew then that he wanted to become a pediatrician.
From newborns to teens, Dr. Day finds every day seeing the kids he cares for and their parents fulfilling. He knows that everyone is on a unique journey through childhood and parenthood and he's honored to be able to accompany them.
Dr. Day received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School - Houston. He completed his pediatric internship and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the UNT/TCU Medical School. Dr. Day is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
In his free time, Dr. Day enjoys spending time with his wife and children, watching college football, reading and spending time at the lake.
Dr. Day has been my sons pediatrician since birth. We always appreciate his thoroughness and down to Earth care. He makes teenagers feel welcome with speaking up about anything they may feel uncomfortable about. He is a fabulous doctor and asset to Cook Children's. – Patient family
