Meet Dr. Vida Amin
Vida Amin, M.D., is very passionate about childhood wellness and preventative care.
Dr. Amin grew up in Albuquerque, NM. She moved to the DFW area in 1991, and attended the University of Texas in Arlington for her undergraduate studies. She earned both her medical degree and completed her residency training in pediatrics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
She is dedicated to the fulfillment of the Cook Children's Promise: "Knowing that every child's life is sacred, it is the Promise of Cook Children's to improve the health of every child through the prevention and treatment of illness, disease and injury."
Dr. Amin enjoys spending time getting to know her patients and their families. When she's not working, Dr. Amin likes spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Amin is the best pediatrician in the DFW area. I travel from Lancaster, Texas to North Richland Hills any time I need to take my daughter to the doctor. Wherever Dr. Amin is, my daughter will be, no matter what period. – Patient family
