Meet Dr. Jeff Pugach

I have had a natural attraction to medicine since childhood. From building with legos, to dissecting frogs and sharks in high school biology, I have always been interested in reconstructive surgery. Throughout college, I knew medicine was my calling. My first case of medical school was with a pediatric urologist who quickly became my mentor. Since then, I have been grateful for several mentors who have taught me how to deliver compassionate comprehensive care for all my patients and their families. In addition, I have an interest in evaluating the role of data in providing the highest quality healthcare.

I am an avid cyclist (5 century rides and counting!) during the warm weather. During the winter, my family enjoys skiing. We remain proud of our children who have finished nursing at Baylor and engineering at Purdue.

Dr. Pugach sees patients in Fort Worth, Hurst, Southlake and Midland.

    We were there longer than expected because we got there early and my daughter needed to drink some water in order to get the test done. The staff was very understanding and patient. So far I'm very pleased with ALL the staff at the Dodson Clinics.

    I was impressed that Dr. Pugach introduced himself and shook both me and my son's hands. He thoughtfully considered the best treatment for my son. Overall our experiences with Cooks Childrens has been fantastic. In fact, my children have asked for me to change their primary care doctor to Cooks. Thank you for taking care of my children.     Everyone is always so calming and friendly, my son is always put at ease when we go. He is never anxious about his annual appointments because he knows that the staff makes things as least "scary" as possible.

    The wait was long, but the doctor apologized for the wait. I feel the care that we receive is worth waiting for. I know that running behind schedule means that patients before us are being given the time they need rather than being rushed, also children don't always cooperate! All in all I am very pleased with the care and efficiency of the office.
