Garth Brooks Praises the Child Life Zone Team
September 2022 | At Cook Children's we know that healing is not always just about medicine. In our Child Life Zone, we provide a state-of-the-art environment that offers a different kind of "medicine."
Through games, art, music, creativity and imagination, Child Life specialists work with kids and families to make their visit easier and more comfortable, enhancing their experience at the medical center.
In 2022, country music singer and songwriter Garth Brooks honored Cook Children's Child Life program and Child Life Zone for the great work they do every day for the children and parents who visit our medical center in Fort Worth.
Brooks is a major supporter of Teammates for Kids, which establishes Child Life Zones across the country, including the one at Cook Children's.
