Peaks Tech Zone Helps Increase Health Technology Know-How For Families
September 2022 | Technology can be fun, but when it comes to medical technology, it can also be complicated. That's why we built Peaks Tech Zone at Cook Children's in Prosper. To enhance the patient and family experience, we created a dedicated space to learn about ways technology can support a child's care and improve their health. It's a place where families can receive guided, hands-on experience with their medical devices and online applications recommended for their child's diagnosis.
Health technology advocates, also known as "techsperts," help guide families about choosing the right technology, getting it connected, syncing devices, as well as scheduling telemedicine visits through the MyCookChildren's patient portal.
