Cook Children's Medical Center - Prosper opened a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) bringing world-class care closer to home. It's the first NICU housed within a children's medical center in the region, where staff specifically trained in pediatrics work to give the tiniest patients the best start possible.
The 10-room NICU includes private spaces for families, a room for twins and amenities that help parents stay connected and comfortable. A dedicated nutrition lab and formula mixing area ensure every baby's feedings support their unique needs. And when families can't be at the bedside, a camera system lets them see their baby anytime through a secure app.
