Construction Updates: Fort Worth Campus

We’re growing to better serve our patients, families and staff with the expansion of our medical center in Fort Worth. As construction progresses, we’re committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.

Construction will add time to your trip. Before you leave, locate your garage and identify any impacts to your route. If you're running late, be sure to call the department as soon as possible, and inform them how late you may be.

Learn why we're growing

As Fort Worth continues to experience rapid growth, the demand for specialized pediatric care has increased significantly. To address this need, Cook Children’s is preparing to embark on a 10-year master plan, beginning with the construction of a new 760,000-square-foot medical tower, referred to as the West Tower. This plan will allow for a new and improved Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), an expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as well as additional capacity for our Hematology and Oncology Center, operating rooms, and imaging services.
