Behavioral Health Assessment and Bridge Clinic (BH-ABC)

The Behavioral Health Assessment and Bridge Clinic (BH-ABC) offers short-term behavioral health support for patients ages 5 to 17 with urgent mental health needs. Our clinic provides an intake assessment to determine what level of care and services are needed, up to 3 medication management appointments, up to 3 crisis therapy appointments, short-term case management to provide ongoing support to families and help to establish community follow-up. This office requires a referral from a Cook Children’s provider. We cannot accept walk-ins at this location. 

Our licensed experts provide mental health services for families whose children and adolescents, ages 2 to 18, are experiencing behavioral, neurodevelopmental and emotional challenges such as depression and anxiety to attention deficit disorders (ADD/ADHD) and autism spectrum disorders.

Because we’re part of the Cook Children's Health Care System, we're uniquely positioned to care for those children coping with mental health as well as chronic physical conditions or diagnoses. Depending on the severity of a child's condition, we provide inpatient and partial hospitalization programs along with outpatient services in office settings across North Texas.
