Illness can be stressful for children and their family members, so Cook Children's offers a variety of ways to meet the emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of our patients and families.
Cook Children's Support Services include Child Life specialists who provide therapeutic, educational and recreational activities, licensed clinical and play therapists, psychologists and social services. Translation services are also provided for non-English speaking patients and families.
For your convenience the following links can help you find tools and information to help you navigate your child's disease, patient and family support groups, camps with full medical support for patients, and some that support siblings, and even the whole family.
