Lacy Pitchford, CPNP, is a dedicated pediatric nurse practitioner at the Cook Children's Dermatology Clinic. Lacy excels at bridging advanced clinical frameworks with a warm, child-friendly bedside manner, ensuring that both patients and their families receive compassionate, evidence-based care. Prioritizing clear communication and thorough education, she is passionate about helping families navigate their pediatric dermatological journeys with complete confidence and clarity.
Lacy brings a robust and diverse pediatric background to the specialty clinic, having spent years gaining critical clinical insight within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), pediatric urgent care, and pediatric primary care. This extensive foundation allows her to approach young patients—from infants to adolescents—with an expert understanding of developmental needs and family-centered care.
Outside of the clinic, Lacy enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two daughters, and their two Labradors. To stay active and inspired, she also enjoys yoga, hiking, reading, and traveling.
