Meet Dr. Nitheesha Alapati

Growing up in Dallas, Texas, I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in pediatrics and eventually return to serve the community where I was raised. I attended Baylor University, earning degrees in Business Fellows and Biology, before completing my MBA in Healthcare Administration there as well. I later earned my medical degree from the Texas A&M School of Medicine — Sic 'em and Gig 'em! I then completed my pediatric residency at USA Health Children's & Women's Hospital, where I trained in comprehensive pediatric care and gained invaluable experience serving families across the Gulf Coast region.

My favorite part about pediatrics is building long-term relationships with families and watching children grow through every stage of life — from newborn visits and school milestones to sports physicals and preparing teenagers for adulthood. I especially enjoy helping parents feel supported and confident as they navigate the joys and challenges of raising children. As a mother myself, I understand firsthand how meaningful it is to have a pediatrician you can truly trust and turn to for guidance.

I enjoy all aspects of outpatient pediatrics, with particular interests in newborn and infant care, preventive medicine, asthma management, developmental health, and adolescent medicine. One of the things I love most about pediatrics is that the field is always evolving, and I strive to provide an evidence-based, compassionate, and family-centered practice.

Outside of medicine, I love spending quality time with my daughter and my husband, who is also a pediatric ICU physician. I also enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, fitness, and exploring new places whenever possible. I look forward to building long-lasting relationships with you and your children, and to becoming a trusted pediatrician in the Frisco community for years to come.
