Meet Dr. Frank J. Sloan
Growing up as an Air Force "brat," I didn't know there were specialties in medicine. It was only after I was accepted to medical school that I realized that becoming a flight surgeon wasn't the only option available to me. While in medical school, I learned I have a passion for understanding and treating rashes and infectious diseases. This combination has served me well working in the urgent care and emergency services departments at Cook Children's.
When I'm not caring for patients, I can be found at TCU/UNTHSC Medical School teaching first year students clinical skills and the art of empathy.
I've been at Cook Children's since 2004. I love being here and working in my hometown of Fort Worth.
