Urgent Care
When your child needs urgent care for things like X-rays, stitches, and illnesses that aren't life-threatening but need medical attention the same day, you'll find the medical care you need at a Cook Children's urgent care clinic. With urgent care locations open late 7 days a week, you get more than urgent care – you get quality care from pediatric experts – because our urgent care centers aren't just kid friendly, they're kid only.

COVID-19 testing and clinic wait times
Due to our increased patient volume and the demand for COVID testing, we are experiencing extreme wait times and may not be able to fit all patient visits in the same day. We ask that you please be patient with us.
Cook Children's Urgent Care is offering COVID-19 testing by scheduled appointment only, as long as our testing supplies are available.
If your child is showing COVID-19 symptoms or may have been exposed, please click here for our guide on when to call your doctor or seek emergency care.
Cook Children's Urgent Care clinics are able to perform rapid COVID-19 testing when your child's symptoms are in line with our testing criteria. We are unable to perform rapid testing on a child without symptoms.
Virtual visits
We have virtual visits (telemedicine) as an option for a visit with a provider. If you would like to register for a virtual visit, please click here and register for MyCookChildren's, then follow the instructions to request a virtual video visit.
For emergencies, know where to go
