Behavioral Health offers many programs to help children with their psychological and psychiatric needs. Providing assistance for children, adolescents, and their families.
Our psychiatry department helps children, ages 2-17, and their families who are experiencing behavioral, neurodevelopmental and emotional challenges.
Our psychology department treats children who are experiencing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning and developmental disabilities, mood disorders, anxiety and other adjustment issues.
Partial Hospitalization Program
The Partial Hospitalization Program serves children who require intensive treatment, but are not at immediate risk of hurting themselves or others.
Inpatient Psychiatry Program
When a child is in crisis and requires 24 hour supervision, they are admitted into our inpatient psychiatry program. Our focus is on crisis stabilization and returning the child to his or her home as soon as possible.
Clinical Therapist Program
Coping with a medical diagnosis can have long-term effects on a child's mental health. Our clinical therapist program focuses on addressing challenges faced by children and families coping with chronic and/or life-threatening illnesses.
Outpatient psychiatry and medication management
For children in need of less intensive treatment than our inpatient or Partial Hospitalization Program. Our board certified psychiatrists and nurse practitioners provide psychiatrist evaluation and medication management.
We assist children with a variety of issues ranging from consultation on child rearing, behavioral challenges and development to adjustment with divorce, or more chronic issues such as mood disorders and abuse/trauma intervention.
