Limb Differences and Limb Reconstruction

Children may have congenital deformities and limb differences at birth, while other children may develop them over time in response to genetics, growth, nutrition, trauma, tumor or infection. Regardless of the cause, limb differences may result in pain, decreased function, and dissatisfaction with appearance.

Our limb reconstruction specialists are devoted to restoring anatomy and function to children in order to optimize functional ability, improve pain and optimize appearance. We have excellent experience and capability in treating limb differences from newborns through early adulthood. The innovative techniques we utilize are aimed at restoring joint mechanics and alignment.
