Your First Neurology Appointment
Whenever possible, we recommend that you bring a trusted friend or extended family member to your child's first appointment to take notes and even record important information.
Also, bring a list of your own questions to ask. If you're not sure where to start, click here for a list of frequently asked questions. You will no doubt have additional questions while speaking with your doctor, but there is a lot of information to take in, and the best way to get your questions answered is to prepare as many of them as you can in advance, so you can get the most out of your scheduled time with your specialist.
Health Care Notebook – Parents of neuroscience patients have lots things to keep up with, like appointments, treatments, medications, home care and more. Our Health Care Notebook can help you keep track of everything, and for older children and teens, provides a way for them to take an active part in their care.
