Setting Up Dexcom Clarity

Dexcom Clarity allows you to share data with the Cook Children’s Endocrinology Clinic. This lets them view your child’s information during your doctor appointments.

Note: Your doctor may not monitor this data all the time. If you see a reading that concerns you, call the clinic.

1. 1. Use the same phone you used to install the Dexcom G6 or G7 app (either your child’s phone or your phone).
   2. Go to the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
   3. Download the Dexcom Clarity app.
   4. Login using your child’s profile. If you haven’t created a Dexcom child (dependent) account, create 1 on the Dexcom G6 or G7 app.
   5. Select “Profile” at the bottom of the home screen.
      
   6. Select “Manage Data Sharing” at the top of the screen.
   7. Select “Continue.”
   8. Type clinic code: cookchildrens
   9. Select “Continue.”
   10. Make sure the app has selected Cook Children’s Endocrinology and Diabetes in Fort Worth, Texas.
   11. Confirm
