Meet Cook Children's Veteran's Group
September 2022 | Cook Children's is honored to have more than 200 employees with prior military experience. These brave men and women have a desire to continue to serve the community and their own family here at Cook Children's.
The Cook Children's Veterans Group was formed in 2017 to increase awareness and recognition for veteran and military families across Cook Children's. The group takes part in Fort Worth's annual Veterans Day parade, hosts recognition events and organizes volunteer activities, such as building local homes through Habitat for Humanity. The veterans also work alongside Talent Management to help increase Cook Children's attractiveness as an employer of choice for veterans.
