Service and trade Jobs at Cook Children's can include:
- Materials handler
Materials handlers perform a variety of duties which include the following skills: supply cart management, non-stock supply distribution, bulk to each distribution, pulling stock requisition orders, restocking shelf bins, physical distribution and delivery of supplies and equipment, and tagging patient charge supplies. - Building technician
Building technicians perform scheduled/unscheduled and preventive maintenance and repairs to include: plumbing and pipe systems, electrical, mechanical, building automation and controls. - Environmental service aide
Team members in these service and trade jobs are responsible for performing routine, repetitive cleaning of assigned area using standard cleaning supplies and disinfectants. - Cook
Environmental service aides are responsible for organizing ingredients, planning, preparing the food items in their assigned areas of production and setting up foods by designated times, meeting customer satisfaction goals and expectations.
