Medication checkup
For children with multiple conditions, it's not unusual to see multiple doctors. This sometimes means more than one prescription. It can also include specific over-the-counter medicines and supplements. Add in a special diet, and there could be a risk for an adverse effect. By reviewing your child's medications, Cook Children's pharmacists can help ensure that everything works together. We can also see issues before they become a problem and can alert your child's doctor if we see the potential for a problem. As part of your child's medical team, we're here to help them get better and get back to enjoying childhood as much and as soon as possible.
