Pain Management
Knowing that every child's life is sacred, it is the promise of Cook Children's to improve the health of every child in our region through the prevention and treatment of illness, disease and injury. The Cook Children's Pain Management Department is comprised of practitioners dedicated to improving the quality of life for our pediatric patients by providing a balance between medicine and therapy. This group includes physicians, nurses, a research scientist, and a clinical research coordinator. The Pain Management department at Cook Children's Medical Center is interested in a range of topics relating to the care provided to our patients. The group's research interests include evaluating alternative and complementary therapeutic interventions for the management of chronic pain.
