Cook Children's and JPS Health Network (JPS) teamed up with Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County (WSTC) and Tarrant County College (TCC) to help get you started! We will equip you with lifelong abilities that every employer is looking for.

After completing the LVT Training Program, you can apply at Cook Children's and JPS. Imagine walking into a job interview with:

  • A printed certificate with your name on it after completing this program.
  • In-demand skills that employers need for their positions.
  • Confidence that comes from real-world training.

This WSTC and TCC partnership offers more than just a training program—it's your launch pad to a life-changing career.

Cost

WSTC will cover the fee for eligible participants.

Teacher-led

TCC professionals teach you in a 12-week program that meets twice weekly.

Group-based

This will be a supportive learning environment for 15 students.

  • Service Representative
  • Medical Records Clerk
  • Medical Receptionist
  • Unit Secretary

How do I qualify?

  • 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to meet background verification requirements.
  • Interest in a health care job and want to learn new skills.

Commitments

You must commit to attending all scheduled classes and completing all assignments.

Times/Days: 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Tues and Thurs
