Cook Children's developed the Simulation Program to ensure our patients and families receive care centered on evidence-based practice, safe choices, interdisciplinary team collaborations and the most current technology. This program is a learning concept adopted to support our Promise and values.

Cook Children's Simulation Program was awarded full accreditation in July 2020. The SSH accreditation validates the program's strength in the areas of system integration, teaching/education, assessment and research. Utilizing simulation in these areas proves that the simulation program keeps true to its vision statement to remain one of the country's leading adopters of pediatric simulation technologies, innovation and research.
