Pickleball Medicine program
Expert treatment from a fellow athlete
Pickleball is an active sport that requires many fast movements, from bending and lunging to hitting and serving. It's the fastest-growing sport in America, easy to learn, fast-paced, fun and social! Cook Children's offers specialized care for players like your child to help prevent and treat injuries and get you back on the court!
We look to solve your injury by looking at the real problem, not just the symptoms. Once we understand the source of the issue, we will start your child's treatment. We'll recommend proper training, timing and modifications to play safely.
"I'm extremely passionate about helping young athletes prevent injuries and recover from them. Having been a professional athlete myself and still playing in professional pickleball tournaments currently, I understand how difficult and frustrating injuries can be, and am committed to helping young athletes have well-balanced, healthy and active lifestyles." – Dr. Pitts
