Adult Transitional Epilepsy Clinic

Many of our patients come to us at a very young age and grow up with us. The Adult Transitional Epilepsy Clinic is designed to help ease the transition of our young adult patients with epilepsy into the care of adult epileptologists. Because going from childhood to adulthood should be simple too.

Our clinic is led by Hamid Haroon Kadiwala, M.D. from Tarrant Neurology Consultants, P.A., and the clinic serves patients monthly.

Cook Children's is a recognized Level 4 epilepsy center. The National Association of Epilepsy Centers recognizes Cook Children's Comprehensive Epilepsy Program as a Level 4 Pediatric Epilepsy Center. Level 4 epilepsy centers have the professional expertise and facilities to provide the highest level medical and surgical evaluation and treatment for patients with complex epilepsy.
